I don't think it's a new injury because of something Flick said. He said Christensen had troubles for a long time which we know, he played for 60 minutes max. Flick said you can't have a player who is 80% ready or something like that. I think they will try to heal his chronic issuse, is it achilies if I remember correctly?

The achilles thing is a bitch to rid of. You can sort of play with the discomfort but it will only get worse until you take a proper break and slow rehab.

It's probably a decision to sacrifice some time in order to deal with it proper.
