How was he today? .. fuckin Open Hymen was a long movie had to miss the match
Man how can you prefer any hymens than a Barca game? Not a true fan...

Yamal was okay. Didn't do much but it was a positive sub. I wish he started instead of Ferran. Xavi got the setup wrong today and it nearly cost us.

In a couple of seasons the kid will build a bit more muscle, toughen up gain more experience and won't be pushed off the ball by CBs so easily. He's one of the very few players who can make things happen on their own and can only get better.

Xavi is not doing him any favors by bringing him in in desperate times. Few times he's done it now.
That's a fast way to destroy the development.

Is it time to try him in midfield? Gavi's 5th yellow suspension is coming soon, it would be great to put a major talent to play alongside Romeu and Gundogan.

Didn't get any time on ball in good situations. he was avoided by others possible to avoid mistakes.
his role was mostly to occupy the left defenders to open up space for raphinia to cross.

He is not a midfielder. What makes you believe he would do well playing in midfield. Dont see it at all

Not the first time players avoid passing to him. He's one of those players who should see the ball as much as possible. He's just 16 so he's not really demanding it but would like to see him be more proactive and vocal

He needs to ignore Xavi the way Cancelo has and play instinctively.

Hope Yamal's not the next victim of xaviball.

When the teammates don't pass the ball to someone, there is usually a reason.

They know him from the training grounds:
1. and they either think that he sucks as a player currently
2. or that he'll do some risky move like a dribble and cross and likely lose the ball so they are passing to someone who is less likely to lose the ball or ruin the action
3. or they don't like him as a person, due to his personality, hype or xxx

I remember a similar episode from a few years ago when young Halilovic played for us in a few preseason friendlies and the teammates were mostly ignoring him.
People also wondered why.
I am not saying that he will end up as Halilovic.
But there are probably some deeper reasons why the teammates are ignoring him for now (which is a huge contrast to how a fanbase sees him and his current abilities).
