At 17, Leo had a single goal in 77 minutes of play

At 18, 6 goals in 914 minutes

At 19, 14 goals in 1996 minutes

He didn’t eclipse 20 goals until 21

Perspective

Different system, different times. I am willing to bet Lamine will not come close to Messi.

And yes, Neymar is his idol.

Neymar is one of the best players of his generation and as @te amo barca said was the hardest working forward on the pitch in our team when he was here.

I don't see how Neymar being the idol of Lamine and a lot of other footballers from his generation is a bad thing. I doubt they'll be looking to replicate his antics off the pitch and jet off to celebrate their sibling's birthdays

I think it's about how he carries himself on and off the pitch. Sometimes tries useless tricks or is too greedy. Also his playing style and lifestyle off the pitch is mirroring Neymar's.

Neymar didn't start jetting off to his sister's birthday until later in his career. Can't remember that being an issue when he was at Barca.

his lifestyle off the pitch is mirroring neymars? Fake news

He does the same stuff as Neymar on social media. Dancing with friends and all that.
Not that there's something wrong with it.

He's more Brazilian than any Brazilian we've had since Neymar left.

He'll learn in the future I think.
As for the other stuff then I don't care much for his singing and dancing. I don't know about his dad, but his mother's side of family seem relatively humble and will keep him in check.

Neymar was doomed from the beginning with both his parents being questionable to say the least and pretty much using him as their money maker.

Neymar is a great example what NOT to do and that is to chase the moneybag to Paris. Stay with Barca and win Bdor.

Be Neymar on the pitch and don't leave to Paris.

Also stats don’t tell you everything, Leo at 17 was extra ordinary but raw in a great team

However the goal comparison was to illustrate that the goat had relatively tame stats until he was 21

No one has ever had the impact on the game like Lamine has at his age, never mind the catalyst he was at the Euros.

Yet perspective needed because he’s still just 17 despite facing pressure Messi didn’t at same age

The so-called curse began in 2015, when Neymar picked up a yellow card on February 28th against Granada that caused him to miss the game on March 8 against Rayo Vallecano, just three days before his sister’s birthday.

It was a similar story in 2016, with Neymar missing a game on March 6due to another suspsension due to the accumulation of yellow cards in La Liga.

Yamal. Great job. 17 years old. Keep up the good work. Already at 18 years old you will work without the ball at the same level as Messi. Nice.
