Neymar was at 30 G/A his first full season with us on 41 Appearances. Yamal has 21 in 27. Chances are He's going to eclipse that despite being only 17 while neymar was 21. He's on track to have the best full debut season in a barca shirt since Ronaldo and Ronaldo was 20.

I think his visible frustration comes from the fact that he knows that if he's given these opportunities to score (especially after assisting and helping others score so much) he can be a serious Balon D'or candidate.

I think his attitude is good especially given that any time he flailed / seemed annoyed passing to him was clearly the best choice in most of those cases (Some of it is him being frustrated with himself too btw). Just like Raphinha channeled his fire into his current level we need Yamal to have this drive to be better.

He’s a La Masia product and thinks of the team but is keenly aware he is capable of deciding matches single handedly

I think his attitude has been great and only natural that his ego can get the best of him at times. However considering how consistently lethal he has been, no one can complain or fear he’s on a ‘bad’ path

He just has to be supported in his development because his case is unprecedented, it’s like no other before him

Being a bit unhappy to come off is fine.. these players are not used to it and it is far better than not caring.

Flick wont try to keep in him in check or call him on it at all unless is direspectful to team mates which he hasnt been and clearly is a very good team mate who gets on well with everyone.

Non issue and nothing Flick will address.

I am also a bit in disbelief about @Andresito failing to appreciate Lamine is indeed a playmaker as much as Neymar was

He’s a Tik Tok generation of footballers who love the flair but make no mistake his left foot is what all the greats had - he doesn’t put in crosses, they are passes to players in scoring position. What made him stand out in the youth ranks wasn’t his goal tally like Messi but his ability to decide matches and it wasn’t always by putting it into the net himself but setting up a teammate. It was extraordinary the way he toyed with the opposition, it looked effortless

It’s good he looks up to Neymar but hopefully he follows Leo‘s dedication to the game to be something unique in football with a long career they’ll talk about for ages rather than shining brightly but briefly

There is no ceiling on this kid if his head is on straight, he‘s a gift and has no peer

M3ls still melting down regarding Messi while continuing to do bungee jumps off pressing monster Busquets’s nuts?

Looks like there’s a certified fourth troll to add to the well known trio

It's like when they were calling Mobutu the next Pele 😆

Doesn't do the players any favor either. If they leave up to the expectations, it nibs away at the exhilaration since it was... expected.

It's like comparing a 13 year old to Meisner cuz he made it to base camp while the Austrian while still tending his sheep's at the same age 😏

Good to celebrate the likes of Lamal/Jamal but these early projections are wayyyyy ott

You're welcome
He needs to have that ego and hunger, he’s clearly the best player

Also I saw no indication of what you are saying. Not selfish enough if you ask me
For me issue is not that he’s selfish. I am rarely bothered when he beats two and then goes for goal himself.

But he has started doing this thing where on every first touch on ball needs to do a shuffle or stepover first before start running. Sometimes wins himself space, but many times kills the attack somewhat.

It’s nitpicking but hope he brings some balance back in his game
