Meaningless shitty international games. It's time clubs stop allowing players to play in these farcical 'tournaments' like Nations league

It's infuriating actually... My blood is boiling right now

All clubs should face FIFA and impose the abolishing of ALL international breaks midseason.
Once a season starts (August or so), it can't be stopped for any international football until the end (May)
You cannot NOT ONLY risk the injuries of key players mid-season and derail the trajectory of a team in fighting for titles, BUT ALSO you can't break the team rhythm (training, tactics) players have by forcing them to adapt to another NT team, and then back to club games again

Euro and WC qualifiers can be very well played in June the summer before in the space of a month.
Meaningless comps like Nations League should be scrapped.
Simple as that

Should be quite easy to determine whether he has a ligament injury or not. Any news?

Absolutely terrible if true.

National league being taken seriously is a problem. It was supposed to be a replacement of friendlies, when teams used to use 20 players in the same game. Now, taking it seriously costs clubs more

When you leave the choice of taking it seriously to NT coaches, that can happen

Clubs should be absolutely ruthless about it: scrap all midseason INT breaks RIGHT NOW, or else not release any player

Frankly we should consider not releasing our players for these Nations League games anymore, even if there is some sort of fine, this is getting absolutely absurd with how many of our players have been injured in these meaningless games.

Clubs are weaker than FIFA, SL was already a testimonial of that and they know it now. It will not be scrapped, we have to be realistic.

But, getting to old system and correcting a mistake is doable. Coaches loved to rotate in friendlies, but not in tournaments. So get back to friendlies.

It isn't fine, and in Spain we even don't have that power. Players can be suspended indefinitely.

Who even wants to watch these shit matches? Only recently players complained about the amount of games in a season and fans just complain and sigh when International break comes, check almost any football forum.

Euros/Copa and World cup is enough. No friendlies, no Nations league.

Friendlies are not coming back.

It's up to the national teams coaches to have a bit of backbone and not play the big games.

Spain's league A is shit tier this year for example, so no excuse not to experiment a bit.
