Meaningless shitty international games. It's time clubs stop allowing players to play in these farcical 'tournaments' like Nations league
National league being taken seriously is a problem. It was supposed to be a replacement of friendlies, when teams used to use 20 players in the same game. Now, taking it seriously costs clubs more
When you leave the choice of taking it seriously to NT coaches, that can happen
Clubs should be absolutely ruthless about it: scrap all midseason INT breaks RIGHT NOW, or else not release any player
Frankly we should consider not releasing our players for these Nations League games anymore, even if there is some sort of fine, this is getting absolutely absurd with how many of our players have been injured in these meaningless games.
Who even wants to watch these shit matches? Only recently players complained about the amount of games in a season and fans just complain and sigh when International break comes, check almost any football forum. It's infuriating actually... My blood is boiling right now
All clubs should face FIFA and impose the abolishing of ALL international breaks midseason.
Once a season starts (August or so), it can't be stopped for any international football until the end (May)
You cannot NOT ONLY risk the injuries of key players mid-season and derail the trajectory of a team in fighting for titles, BUT ALSO you can't break the team rhythm (training, tactics) players have by forcing them to adapt to another NT team, and then back to club games again
Euro and WC qualifiers can be very well played in June the summer before in the space of a month.
Meaningless comps like Nations League should be scrapped.
Simple as that
Got a knock yesterday and is questionable vs Switzerland. Watch that bald fraud still play him full 90 minutes.
