Worst match up for him probably in Liga with the Williams brother and Marcilino targeting him, and that came in during the game he was delivered the news about the death of his grandfather moments before the game. Was clearly not in his best mental shape.
Awful game, but will cut him some slack considering the circumstances.

yeah, was never a fan. but will give him a bit of time. don't know if he will ever reach pique's level though

Its one thing to get beat for speed, its another thing to be a weakling that couldn't grab and pull back Williams.

Having to make a stupid lunging dive just outside the box was not good. Should've just pulled him down earlier

Will write a long post one of the next days to analyze why any other CB than Araujo and Migueza from the ones in the squad, is a terrible idea against any side who is even slightly physical and fast...

He is a liability when facing such an opponent.
Should sit his ass on the bench for many games, and feature against weaker sides that do not seek to press aggressively

In general, he is 2nd tier and would never make it to tier 1
We knew it was a wrong Barto deal from day 1.

Mingueza is poor and would have been red carded early doors if left exposed one on one in a back two like that.

Garcia still the better player.

No he is not
That's your personal bias.
Get over it, and start watching the football that is delivered in front of your eyes.
If that game did not teach you anything, you are a lost case

Mingueza would have coped with pacy attackers much better. Don't think he's ever been red-carded for Barca yet as well.

Yes he is and you disagreeing is nothing more than your 'personal bias' if want to go down that route.

Mingueza is not better than Lenglet/Garcia etc and wont be some saviour at back.

Garcia was poor no doubt.
