He's a better shot-stopper than Taliban for sure.

Yeah it's been confirmed he can. We only have 1 GK registered in the CL now with MATS out. So we are allowed (required even) to register a new one.

Exactly. He's no improvement on MATS, but very decent option given the limited market.

I regarded Keylor Navas in his prime as one the best GK, but not his current shape.

Pena will be a starter for at least a month anyway. I also think Szczesny won't be able to play CL until the knockouts (if we get there) so there will be minutes for both.

In terms of shot stopping, he's about 10 times the upgrade. Not only does he not let in balls in at the near post like they're hot potato, he can actually position himself well and even dive and save shots at the far post! You know, what a quality GK should do! As a bonus, he's a wizard at penalties too.

We'll see. If he doesn't badly he's already better for me. You know, like trying to sombrero opponents and losing the ball, passing straight to opponents, having poor shot saving percentages, or getting teammates sent off due to playing hero ball.
