could Uruguay have a good new team developing? Araujo and Gimene at the back. Likes of Valverde, Bentancur, and Torreira in midfield and then Darwin Nunez up front. Think they've got a few other decent youngsters as well in other areas.

Replacing Araujo will cost the club a lot more than sitting down with him and his agent properly and meeting in the middle.

De Ligt cannot replace what he does, and with Christensen we have a player of his profile anyway. Kounde could do some of the things Araujo does, but doesn't cannot dominate physically as he does and would cost 70m + likely higher wages than Araujo wants now.

They have to renew him.

Is Nunez any good?
Saw Suarez had recomended him to us, but reading up on him he had some injury tha almost made him quit football?

He has the profile of a complete #9 and is quite quick too. Not Auba level speed obviously but quicker than most strikers.

But he only has one season of high volume goalscoring at an acceptable level and that is this season. Players like him are tough to evaluate since the most important thing for him is still to make those chances count and score. Doesn't matter if your profile is similar to Lewandowski or Cavani if you don't score enough goals.
