4 - Ronald Araújo

The Araujo rumours started in Italy, with guys like Fabrizio Romano saying it early on.

This isn't a case of the club trying to get rid of hin through the media, which we honestly don't do that much since Alemany left (he was the bully in our board).

Araujo has been unhappy for a while and there were rumbles about him leaving for some months now.

We'll probably never know the exact details but probably a combination of wanting a new environment and also not being guaranteed a starting spot.

Letting go a young motivated leader for a mercenary who is about to come here to retire on sun and sea.

Motivated leader? This guy is refusing to renew for over a year now and all of a sudden he is afraid of 34y old Inigo. What a marvellous leader he is.

As Cruyff once said: "If you have second thoughts on playing for Barcelona, you are no longer of service to us."

The smear campaign stuff I posted above did not start from Italy,
ffpolo, one of Laporta's journo pets, started some today

Cm'oon man.
I know you support Laporta, but you can do better than that

Something is seriously wrong with this guy if he's willing to waste everything he's built up to join Juventus of all teams.

Keep believing the shit that comes from board's journalists

Rumors started in Italy --> Most trusted journalists close to Juventus claim they are negotiating with Araujo and his agent --> Likes of Di Marzio and Fabrizio also report it's true --> Fernando Polo puts out a report about Araujo admitting he's considering leaving.

In what world is this propaganda by Laporta/Barca?

Are you stupid?

What did Fernando Polo say?
@Barca_Buzz
The Uruguayan has admitted in the dressing room that it is true that he is considering leaving the club this January and that if he does leave, he has always prioritized the Premier League.
@ffpolo & @RogerTorello [md]

@BarcaTimes
Araujo feels 'mentally exhausted' after seeing the rise of Iñigo and Cubarsí. The potential signing of Jonathan Tah is also a possible reason. [@ffpolo]

For starters...
2 UNACCEPTABLE 'smear campaign' type of leaks

Are you stupid?

Di Marzio and Romano reporting about Juventus' interest on him.
Is that relevant to the point made? NO

Polo and Torello are not in Italy, they are in Barcelona, very close to the board, and they are who shamelessly 'reported' about Araujo's intentions/feelings in a way totally reminiscent of them and others 'reporting' about De Fraud many times

The Italy-based ones did not report anything about Araujo's side

I am not stupid. Are you?

And Polo isn't a Laporta bet either, guy has been writing non stop every day in the past year, in desperation for clicks.

This was just an obvious attempt to be part of an ongoing story.

Shame, because he was once reputable. But this barely get you anywhere unless you are super connected to multiple clubs.
