Potentially this. He might not have the brain to work Flick system. It takes some timing and brains to do. Not just raw power.
It's too early to say for sure. He is not 100% yet.

Gavi looked terrible after he came back. I am sure it's same with Araujo. He will improve slowly.

The Pole in goal is particularly inferior to Iñaki in terms of leaving his area much less on the ball - this burdens the defense playing out of pressure and for a player like Araujo who is similar to Iñigo in terms of ball skills, both are inferior to Pau Cubarsi. It’s a cascading impact, one limitation exposes/stresses others - it‘s why they win & lose as a team
No question, Araujo’s biggest limitation (that he has even acknowledged) is his skill on the ball - probably why Pau really stands out when paired with him as he is such a weapon with the long ball, even from the left. Tah does not have this level on the ball either

I think if we were being honest and shrewd, then you have to seriously think about trying to sell Araujo for 50m+ and re-investing in someone else so that Cuba can move to RCB.
But that's something for summer and not mid season. Not unless you are City and have the funds to blow 100m on three centreback prospects just to fill Peps post divorce desires.

I never understood the constant rating and down grading of a player game to game, that constantly happens here.
A few days ago, fans were saying he's back like he never left, now he's trash again, smh

Bros were even starting to shade yamal in the chat yesterday.
Give players a good 4-5 games before making ridiculous statements.
Everyone awful in the first half yesterday bar a few and most were bad in the 2nd half with few exceptions.
It's one of those games, give the opposition some credit for exploiting our weakness FFS, the opportunity for the own goal wouldn't have happened without good play by benfica first, same for all 4 goals these scores actually.
