Just catching up on this thread. Pretty sure would be illegal for an agent to not present offers.

I'd say this one is plausible. We will see shortly if there is some truth in this.

He most definitely did not get the salary he aimed for and this is the compromise the club had to make, to give him freedom. I think it's a good deal for all parties.

He's not that young anymore. 70m is a lot for a 28 year old. In all honesty those numbers are on the higher end of what he's worth. Unless he gets a big part of that in his pocket, it's a great deal for Barca.

This is how old he'd be for each release clause if source is legit:

85m - 27

1. only valid for summer (so he can't decide to leave in January)

2. time limited from 1st to let's say 20th July (or the most end of July) so we have enough time to look for replacements.

The release clauses from 29 onwards are low IMO given his value

But I assume he would want a new contract by then
