I think he doesnt find space well in midfield yet and doesnt have same ability on ball yet as Pedri and FDJ while think him and Pedri in CM together at moment is not enough.

It has been shown time and again.

This role where he is a 4th mid to get up and support the CF he has been lacking in as well in the quality to connext but didnt today and if can play like that it is best set up from now.. particularly if Balde can take the width.

Nah Pedri is a lot better on ball curently and been better this season.

Gavi looks lost at CM quite a bit as did for Spain against better sides.

But for his age class.

I would bet on Pedri being better of two.
