There are reports he won't be back until probably October and probably by that time Flick will probably have some sort of idea of his lineup.

Don't see him really making an impact until way later in the season.
October? Watching him workout with that intensity I wouldn't be surprised he'll run on the grass in 2 months time.

Back in April, there were reports that his recovery process was going to take a lot longer than expected and he won't be back to full fitness until at least October.

We'll see what happens but De La Fuente fucked up by not subbing him out immediately when it was obvious he got hurt.

If he won't be ready until October-Jan period then the club may decide to not register him until January which would help the FFP for this Summer.

(GAVI): Gavi’s recovery is on the right track but nobody wants to rush and force his return. The priority for everyone is that he recovers perfectly. He is not expected to return before October and if it has to be in November then also no issues.

Would be good if he traveled with the team for preseason to be with the squad, even if he'd be doing his individual work most of the time.

Let's see when he will be back. Good to see him out on the pitch doing controlled movements.

Comparing him to Wirtz who tore his ACL in March played his first minutes in January which is 10 months later. Gavi tore his in November, so 10 months would be in September. They estimate November so it's not unlikely he's back then unless there are setbacks.

Needs two months until he can start training with the group. Not sure how long it will take until he's ready for game time after that, but feels like it's on schedule at least.

No way he's back that early. The thing with ACL injuries is it might feel great doing controlled movements in training but as soon as you're tired and can't predict contact from opposing player or having to turn instincively the stability in the knee can give in.

My hope is on him to keep the players in tow when they are about to have diva breakdowns a la araujo and smack some sense into them.
