For all intents and purposes Gavi is the heart and soul of this team. And also at the very least the 2nd captain. (Gundogan for me is still the real captain of this club.)

If he is back to 100% he will transform Barca's press and he has that LW position wide open to accomplish that goal.

Or we can play him in a double pivot and use him there in a mid block. Either way he is primed for a great season with a coach that will use him right.

If Flick can teach him intelligent pressing that we shown in pre season so far, he'll be asset. The headless chicken act he shown under Xavi might look good to some, but is ineffective and creates more cons than pros. Also needs to be much better on the ball. He actually declined in this respect last season.
