They need to be careful with his renewal, but probably won't be.

What does he bring to the table over someone like Valverde? Barca has many options in the midfield but they're all the same.

It's kind of weird, shouldn't Catalonia have some taller players?

At his best? Good engine, good passing, doesn't excel in anything but can be a top midfielder because he has a vast skill-set.
