I don't know why he is popular here.. I still don't rate gavi at all.. he is like dejong. One is a run with the ball merchant the other is a tackle merchant, none of the two provides what a basic good midfielder should.

Something about his game has irked me since 22/23. He usually passes it to the nearest player in attack, just very unproductive, after making too many touches on the ball. In defense he makes good interceptions but also vacates his area too easily, huge holes when it doesn't work out. I don't like how he's evolving as a player

He simply is not going to be a great offensive player.
