Would still take an unmotivated De Jong over Gavi at CDM any day of the week. Flick fucked up.

I don't think he's actually been good apart from when he initially broke through.

Even pre-injury he wasn't great but is a fan favourite because of the scrappy doo act.

Nothing against him whatsoever but in the time I've followed Barca, seen countless better players.

He was better with the ball when he came through but now it seems like he's abandoned pretty much everything else and is trying to become a Hardman passion merchant.

I admire his passion but that's all he has going for him right now sadly. Just tactically inept and not really special on the ball. Feels like Casado right now is what Gavi should have really been.
