He's xavi's signing so he will get his chances, but he's gonna do better & xavi has to learn to sub him when needed.

This was one of those Griezmann performances where you just expected him to miss every chance.

For me what was most important is he is consistently getting the chances but is not converting yet. His chances are all about being In the right place rather than team moves, which is great. Means he has a strikers instinct.

As for the finishing itself, not a big thing for me. It's not a case of Morata hit and hope. It's more him snatching or having the ball out of position to strike. More of a confidence issue. New club jitters.

Now if he's still missing like this then I will be worried. But not after tonight.

Sub him and then what? Play Dembele on the left? Adama? Braithwaite ffs?

For that game we were watching,
yes Dembele on the left, with Auba staying upfront

In general, he should never play LW or RW again.
Even with Auba in the lineup, Auba is much more able to create danger from the Lw

Dembele is utter trash on the left usually (see Espanyol) and quite good on the right. Best front line right now is Ferran-Auba-Dembele for my liking.

Things get interesting when Ansu is back.

BBZ, fool, listen to me, if you put Halland in the championship of Spain in Valencia MARCELINO, how many goals would he score?

you mentioned those 7 goals in 24 games for city as if it meant something. scored against some bums, with an elite squad behind him that usually mauls fools like that 5-0.

so it goes both ways.

Very good penalty, some great movement, just bad finishing. If he sorts that out he will be valuable but until then underperformance.
