7 - Ferran Torres

Before his injury Ferran Torres had been in excellent form, scoring seven in 11 appearances for club and country.

A bit expensive, but if the salary isn't huge that's alright. Just have to see if he can actually regain his form, so there's some risk as well, otherwise good player.

And even 1,84 for BBZ, nice.

Should have signed him straight from Valencia. Another situation like Dembele where the opportunity to sign straight from parent club was there but instead we wait and pay way more 1 year after.

If this goes through I hope he is a massive success. Have to nail every transfer for the foreseeable future

True, but we don't know how he'd develop in the chaos we had at the club.

He has made a big step forward under Pep's guidance. He was a talent, but I was surprised how good he has become watching him play for Spain.

Let's wait for the price. In the end he won't be much cheaper than Haaland and City could finance Erling's release clause by a big amount with the money from Ferran's transfer. I know that Haaland is way more expensive through his agent, salary etc. though.

This is ridiculous ...

How can you buy a City's reject for 55-60 mil !!!

The guy is good but no way near that amount of money.

Only FCB can pay that

Now watch people in here say he isn't a City reject because they had better players than him in the squad.

The guy spent a season at City, mostly on the bench. His G/A contributions were against bums only. And we come in with 55M cash in hand.

'City Rejects FC' we here!

Price is ridiculous considering we could have signed him for 23m a year ago in what can only be described as the most obvious transfer target in recent years. However, 50m - 60m isn't what it used to be. Not the worst price to pay.

He's also far from being a city reject. Was regularly getting game time in his first season amongst established city players who have been there for years. And established players in general who have seasons of good form to back them up. He's been injured is all. Far more suited to the city team than say Grealish who cost them 100m.

We're getting a good player for market price. It's a whole lot better than many of our recent transfers.

He's not a City reject. It's not a sure thing transfer, but nobody gets world-class players these days for 55+10. That's the going rate for top talents, especially if they are already starting to produce numbers (he's probably the most important forward for Spain NT currently) and play for great teams like it's the case with Ferran.

But the scouting staff and the managers need to realize that for us to be back we need to add top players for lower fees. We don't have the money to spend 3-400m and 5 players and be back just like that.

Find a way to splash on Haaland, which would be basically 75% of the attack sorted, and the rest of the team can shape up nicely with lower money signings if we know what we are doing.

Yes, that's their policy. They are not PSG. As someone said, they sold Sane, and were willing to sell Bernardo. Spanish player wants to play for one of his countries giants. No big news, you have to be dumb like PSG to keep him if a good price is reached.

He is easily gonna be our best attacker, can't really complain, just disappointed by the price, it's literally like we didn't even negotiate, other clubs just don't respect us at all when it comes to negotiations.
