He's not a City reject. It's not a sure thing transfer, but nobody gets world-class players these days for 55+10. That's the going rate for top talents, especially if they are already starting to produce numbers (he's probably the most important forward for Spain NT currently) and play for great teams like it's the case with Ferran.
But the scouting staff and the managers need to realize that for us to be back we need to add top players for lower fees. We don't have the money to spend 3-400m and 5 players and be back just like that.
Find a way to splash on Haaland, which would be basically 75% of the attack sorted, and the rest of the team can shape up nicely with lower money signings if we know what we are doing.
