7 - Ferran Torres

The option is sign Ferran now or in say two years time. What would City ask in one or two years?

Depends on how he would develop and what his role would be at City at that time. But now that his signing is just a matter of hours (maybe minutes) this is irrelevant question.

Rewatching some of his goals for City and Spain NT... the kid has the instinct for goal like Cristiano Ronaldo. For me he's definitely a no.9

Just finished watching Spain - Germany (6-0) highlights, what a performance.

What's so impressive about 2 opportunistic shots and a tap in? Haven't seen anything in therms of movement or placement that tells us he would be great at 9

It is relevant for those who think it is too much money. Sign him now while you can.

Watch some more footage of his goals. Very few of them are scored after some cutting edge dribbles from the wings. He can play on all sides in front, but he's no wizard like Ronaldinho and Messi. Even employed as RW or LW in a 4-3-3 he always get inside the area to look for opportunities.

I've watched footage and nothing tells me this guy would be good as a 9.

No hold up play, not that good off the ball movement, no battling with opposition defenders, not clinical in front of goal.

My take is we got him to play on RW or LW, if Fati or Dembele are not around. Target for 9 will still be Haaland or the likes.

️[ @DiMarzio] | Haaland's first priority is Real Madrid

and then Barcelona. And if they can't, he will join the Premier League. #fcblive Eyes

Post full quotes, you fake news merchant.

So basically, he's keeping his options open as he should with 6 months still left before making a decision.

Well, David Villa didn't battle defenders, either. Basically what you are telling me is that the club signed a 65m player, a starter for Spain NT just to be benchwarmer for two unproven injury-prone players? I don't believe that. I'm not saying Ferran will be a strict target man no.9, but will roam this area, don't expect him to be glued to Jordi Alba's outside corner shit like Neymar did.

I don't know is he good but I do remember we could have got him for 25 mils and we went for Trincao. Some time after, we...
