Got a feeling we won't get Dembele, Seri or Coutinho and we'll go with panic buys like Paulinho and Di Maria.

Its not about decreasing the price, its about keeping player who wants to leave for much bigger opportunity.

You dont want player who grows resentment towards you at start of a season. Not saying he will, saying its possibility in such situation.

And he's under contract. He should have put a clause in his contract he signed back in January if he was so keen on leaving (like if Barcelona came in for him Liverpool would accept a good offer). He has to be professional and let Liverpool do their job.

To be honest with you, I also doesn't want somebody that can turn shit when he decides he wants to go.

You want him to turn to that, but probably will be amongs the folks insulting him if he does a "neymar" in two years.

Or I'm wrong, and you know what it means to recruit a person likes the one you expect him to be.
Neymar didnt do that. Neymar was a bitch for trying to milk club for 26m while dealing with PSG under the table. Big big difference.

If he wanted to leave, said so and went on with "I have injury" excuse I would sell him for right money right away (that being 222m).

Would definitely not want keeping player for a year if he doesnt want to stay.

Even before the Neymar saga Robert and the rest of the sporting department having dragging it out this summer.

Chasing the likes of Verratti and Bellerin who both were impossible to get due to one being PSG and the other being Arsenal and the dude just signed a new contract back in November until 2023. Felt like the only reason we chased Bellerin because he's Catalan and a former La Masia boy and not looking if he's the right RB we should be chasing.

We got luck we got off our ass and secured Semedo but here we are still needing a Midfielder and a Neymar replacement. Disgraceful how utterly poor the planning has been this summer, what have these guys been doing? this isn't fucking Lucho we have a new damn manager in Valverde.

That what makes me mad. What have they been doing? Really? are not there other plans? targets? did we try talking to our current targets' teams to feel if they were willing to sell in May? June? July? Do they actually care about Barca? really disappointing. I do not care about Coutinho all I care about is planing. How can we trust them with our future? we already lost what 4 of our talents and Neymar as well. We have not gotten rid of Turan Munir Douglas and the rest. Oh my god.

Cat radio saying one of the reasons why this transfer is difficult is because of PSG's interest. apparently Neymar requested PSG to sign him.

PSG the boogey man to blame everything on now. How it goes is they don't want overspend for him and want Liverpool to just let him go which won't happen. "Why won't everyone in Europe just roll out the red carpet and give us their players :("

He said that? I dont remember him saying anything.

He can send message pretty clear to a club. They have done asbolute shit job at transfer market and have very little hope of challanging anything bar Cup. If he feels they are forcing him to stay and thinks he does deserve better maybe he might show more then just "sore back"

You just seem to think that Coutinho thinks like you. Or rather you want it to be. Therefore let's agree to disagree. But so far, nothing point to that scenario you want so much.

If this fails then get Seri. That leaves plenty of money for ousmane dembele. Dortmund have sold better players for reasonable prices before to direct rivals, don't know why they are playing hardball all of a sudden.

Because the market is crazy at the moment.

You are replying on my message about him.being "Neymarish" and he cant be that. Neymar went like a bitch. He wanted to milk club for 26m while negotiating under table with PSG.

Alot of players will try to show disscontent with their club if they want to go out, nothing much wrong with that, especially if they already said they want out. Neymar on the other hand wanted to rob club and then leave.

They didn't do it so often that you think with their very best players.

For example, neither Lewandowski or Hummels were the same case. One let his contract runs out, the other had his contract running out in 2017, and refused to renew.
