Get Lemar now, buy Coutinho next summer, then next season we'd have Lemar, Coutinho and Alena in midfield, not too bad.

Oxelaide-Chamberlin was apparently Chelsea bound until yesterday when it was reported the deal fell through and he was now negotiating with Liverpool. Liverpool will sign Ox and discarded Lemar apparently. And Monaco signed Keita Balde a few days ago, the apparent Lemar replacement so I think they are open to letting him go.

Yes I have and I like the kid. I would be delightet to have him here I am just saying that he can't be a Coutinho replacement because:

1. I see him more as a winger while Coutinho can play as winger and as AM
2. Lemar is more about the speed and crossing while Coutinho is more about the ball control and vision
3. Coutinho would improve our squad immediately, he for sure would give immediate boost to the team while Lemar still has a lot to learn and he needs more time to progress to become a world class.

As I said I would be tremendously happy to have them both but IMHO Coutinho is what we need right now.

Coutinho and Lemar are different operations: Thomas would come by 20 M + André Gomes; Coutinho, only money.
