Name one world class midfielder in our squad other than Busquets.

We don't even have a proper Xavi replacement, which should have been taken care of 4 years ago (thank the clowns running the club for throwing Thiago away). Now we desperately need an Iniesta replacement as well. Should have sold Fabregas, kept Thiago and bought Isco in 2013. A little more vision and planning and our midfield would be set for at least 5 more years, instead of being the mess it currently is. But no, let's rely on a 33 year old Xavi, 30 year old Iniesta and a Fabregas who couldn't perform past December to save his life.

I knew the direction our midfield was going the moment Thiago was sold. It's still to this day our board's greatest sin other than the Paulinho signing.

Our midfield is lacking in comparison to most top clubs. A massive fall from grace for the team that once was indisputably the best in that area.
And Real Madrid always wins games with late goals and massive luck. They do it every single season. At a certain point we should stop calling them lucky and admit they're doing something right. We could have won the league by some distance if we had a functioning midfield (And also kept Arda far away from it as well).

We needed at least 2 signings in the middle field (not counting Paulinho, that's going to be a disaster no matter what). That's why Cou+Seri was such a great combo. Right now, we can't win against Madrid because they are the best team in the world with the best midfield. Until last season, we were the only team in the world that could stand a chance against them, right now there is no one, not Bayern, not Juventus, nothing.

I was always pissed that they got easy teams to play against in the CL, but right now it doesn't matter, they could defeat anyone.

It's awful. They don't create anything, are pretty much all slower than turtles and they just get walked through and don't protect the defence.

Even Paulinho should improve it and he's hardly the answer.

The only reason we got near Real was because of Messi. He did the midfield's job for them by dropping back to create everything as well as being the best forward in the world.
