Liverpool have no reason to get Gomes, he's no added value to their current squad (and i mean because of his player profile, not how good/bad he is).

It's not that unlikely his aunt has written this and believes he will move to Barcelona soon. The family and Coutinho himself can be confident since his agent will have negotiated with Liverpool in the last few months and they might know a sum at which Liverpool is ready to negotiate. The question remains if we can or want to match this sum.

Coutinho misteriously wasn't in their squad yesterday although Salah was injured. This is a sign for me that he really wants that move because I don't believe in a coincidence of an injury the day the transfer market opens up.

I think there is more to that "Coutinho to Barcelona"-story than there was in summer. The question remains if we can pay the asked sum and if Liverpool can sign their desired replacement (Lemar?) before.

I think its a negotiating tactic. Ask 180 mil but eventually agree to a “reasonable” fee between 120-150 with the condition he stays till the summer helping Liverpool reach their goals.
