My point was, it's totally different situation to Coutinho. If Coutinho had buyout clause he would be with Barca already.

Barca fans will react in same way if any big player getts tapped up and unsettled. Can see way reacted to PSG.

Neymar played his game behind our backs and spoiled the team spirit( losing to Madrid 5-1). Neymar was cancer to our team in summer and not to mention making his deal so last minute we almost had no time to sign replacement. Now we ended up overpaying for Dembele. If Neymar came publicly out and said he wanted to leave Barca at the start of summer, I would have been fine with the move, but it's the way he did all those things, which annoyed me the most. There's no point keeping player who is unhappy, at some point it's not going to work anymore

You could make a case for Dembele being our new Neymar. He left both teams with big drama before. I assume that's what's going to happen with Barca as well.

It doesn’t really matter what the consequences are in my opinion, at the end of the day if one of your best players is leaving for another club you lose face, pride and feel hurt.

The general narrative is leaning towards a deal being done now for the summer, as a Liverpool fan that would be the best course of action as getting a replacement now would be difficult. My biggest frustration is the same as arthur and yerry mina, just make an offer and stop using md and sport spreading their bullshit. As for not playing again there isn't anything to back that up at the moment
