My point was, it's totally different situation to Coutinho. If Coutinho had buyout clause he would be with Barca already.

Not likely because his clause would probably be higher than 200M and we wouldn't pay that much.

Because Dembele was thought to be Neymar’s replacement and we needed then and we still need to reinforce the midfield now.

I’d have absolutely loved for us to get Mbappe but the club has slightly different priorities. In the long-run we definitely need a younger and powerful forward and scorer to replace the aging Suarez and Messi.

Sounds like wouldnt have made much difference as always going to PSG.

If can get Coutinho, Griez and Dembele that is fucking decent going and cant really complain about ones that got away.

Granted will have paid for them but a lot of other teams will have paid a lot for worse.

Imagine being Real and seeing three of the best players on the market going to Barca and they have not signed any.

The Mbappe ship has sailed a long time ago… Griezmann is the only plausible target that we could get right now.

Looks like he will be their next target but they will pay a lot of money for him if it happens.

If Barca get Coutinho/Griez this summer the team is set for a few years and can go back to looking for more cheaper gambles a bit while the market just gets more and more mad.

Should have put a serious bid in last summer and we might have had a chance in the CL then. It's a big weight off Messi's shoulders to have someone else who can create but it's no good when we need a goal against a parked bus of Chelsea next month and he can't play.
