His recovery will determine his availability! 😆😆 No shit? !😂

Sad to see him injured. This must mean more minutes for Nico and dare I say Puig.

Last game was truly a disaster statistical wise. 19 attempted passes in 45 minutes is extremely low for a midfielder playing for Barcelona, and then he only succeeded with 13 of them, giving him a 68,4%, lower than Depay numbers! And it was not like he succeeded or even attempted anything really threatening, it was pretty much only obvious passes that he tried, and one hero backheel pass that was badly timed... He has been undeserving of his unthreatened status, I hope he returns with more drive, while his competition take their chance to show Xavi that Pedri is not an undeniable starter every game...

Not much fun to look at those numbers in isolation. Busquets made 72 passes in 90 minutes... pretty underwhelming as well. But he's your darling, eh?

Dembele was a one-way street, he would never play the easy backpass to Pedri/Mingueza all game. Araujo and Mingueza - both playing on Pedri's side - were (passing) train wrecks.

But yeah, Pedri was shit. Like the rest of the team, no arguing there.

The only guy undeserving of his status is the walking corpse that plays behind Pedri. If the corpse did his job as a proper DM, and brought the ball out of the backline, then Pedri would have had more than 19 passes.

Tru.

100 more games like these and he'll reach Puig level smh

Can you please work on your wit? You are very unfunny, uncreative and frankly a disaster here, pal.
Puig is on average attempting one pass per minute there about, and he never played a game with under 80% succesful passes, mostly being above 90% and averaging steadily over 90%.

Not that Puig ever played in a team that got challenged like ours yesterday, because, well, he's not part of any team, really.

Why are Barca players so soft?
Surely there's an issue strength wise. Our players look soft and ate soft. Even a new medical team haven't helped.
There's no doubt Pedri has played alot of football but that still isn't an excuse.

Rather low numbers to look at percentages, no? He misplaced 6 passes, not the end of the world really. I get that the numbers being low is a point in itself. Pedri was poor though, no arguments there.

This is double the amount of passes that Pedri made, and he succeeded with 91,7% of his passes, contrary to Pedri, while also making 8 progressive passes, most in the team. I was up of my seat a couple of times when he played perfect line breaking passes on his first touch when recovering the ball, too. I really enjoy watching Busquets play, yes.
Dembele had a stunning 60% pass success rate yesterday, one of the worst numbers I ever saw. It is maybe OK to have one player on these numbers, but then you have to have total control otherwise, or you will be punished on counters whether you have the ghost of a turtle or a gym rat on DM.

Yeah, statistics are not to be looked at in isolation. Look at the video posted above for his influence in the game, if you forgot his "performance".

Sure. He usually misplace that amount there about in one game, this time he missed that amount in one half, while also being less involved than usual (he is to little involved usually too, but this was extreme). It is the total picture of small involvement, bad success rate, little threat that makes his performance so bad. If he at least offered a threat, or security, or involvement, then OK. I want all three, but got none.

Says you , a guy who is twerking for a 1.60m , 50 kg player who has the body of a 12yo , who was rejected by around 7 coaches untill now.

LMAO like that means anything.

Keep twerking for a secunda level player.

I do not twerk, and I do not think about Puig or post about Puig 1/10th of the amount that you and other posters like you do. If you are unable to even attempt to post more creatively and witty, can you at least move on from this small player with the big heart? We can all see he doesn't play anymore. Concentrate on what is being posted and refuting that and stop bringing Riqui Puig into every conversation, please.
