A shame he didn't get those last five minutes, he surely would've made the difference!Yeah, looked better as the game went on. Was about to say he improved when Koeman subbed him off.
One thing you get with him is reliability. Even in such poor displays, you'd trust him not to make blunders or lose the ball cheaply. Something you don't see with Pjanic or Puig.
That said, hope he's back in form soon.

He looked exhausted already some weeks ago, and today he looked tired from the start. No matter how you rate him, he shouldn't be playing these many minutes, no player should.
Even if you have NO trust in the alternative players, you should make some sort of a schedule so that these players can play some of the minutes in order for the starting 11 to be fresh when it matters.
Puig would not do anything. He never score or assist for Barca when the team is losing. It is just your fantasy.

Exactly.I agree with that. Said in the match thread I would've taken him off for Puig, not long into the second half.
Just pointing out he wasn't as poor. I do rate him, but Koeman and the fans might be asking tad too much from such a young chap.
Exactly.
Pedri is a fine player, but overused (and a bit overhyped as well) at the moment. He had some good moments in todays game.
Puig is underused, and todays game screamed for him to come on.
But for the record, I don't care so much about that, let Moriba play then, or let Messi be a 10 and put on Trincao or something, if you really think that "Puig would not do anything" (wherever that thought would come from).
Just don't let Pedri play 90 or 120 minutes every three days and burn him out.

I hope so, and I hope the team as a whole is rotated more (although most of the damage is already done)I think we are gonna see a lot more of Puig in the coming weeks. Especially with fixture pile-up.

Griezmann probably wouldn't be as terrible if he got to rest some time.
vegitot: what the fuck is this talk about "proving", are you insane?
I said before. Nothing special for this guy. One of the most overrated player I have ever seen.
I would have to admit to hyping Puig a bit. I have this thought though, of course it is a bit premature as he has played so little, but if he gets to play more I believe I will be proven right. Can't really talk about hype after repeatedly calling Puig top 5 midfielder in the world
Puig for Pedri would've been a fine call
Trincao for Busquets too, in my opinion
