Bayern and Real next. Will see whether or not he can raise for big occasion like Don Andres.
A bit early to compare him to Iniesta. Pedri is 21 years old. Iniesta in the same age played in Spain's U-21 and had mostly short subs around the last 30 minutes in barca.

Nobody in this club understands that being captain isn't just being the longest serving player in the club, idiots. That's why we end up with captain like Roberto, Alba or even fucking Pena and MATS.

Gavi was the most senior outfield player though, he was the 2nd captain so not a big deal.

It is a team vote.
After those who are voted, it is seniority.

Which is pretty standard in football, no team keep ranking the entire squad for the arm band, after few names it is made by seniority as an easy solution.

Ironically, I don't know any club who has 5 players ranked for the Captain arm band. It is actually weird.

Even when Iniesta was at current Pedri's ages, he always shone in big games, big moments. Check his UCL performances in 2006 vs Milan, Arsenal... or his El Clasico.

It's been clear that he needs positional freedom and he has the positional sense and technical ability to affect all areas of the pitch.

Happy to see him flourishing so far. Hope he keeps it up.
