yeah, sanchez can do that job, messi can be a real 9. And we don't need suarez.

No you must be kidding, we played Messi as a 9 last season and it didn't work. You lose his play making abilities and he doesn't have the off the ball movement of a good 9

Messi is the best play maker out there, he must stay deep. The solution is to play a winger who will also move into the 9 position, like Henry or Eto in 2009 or Villa in 2011. We should just play Sanchez like this or else find a replacement who will perform this role.

Just a question, whether it's Suarez we're talking about or another striker.

Where the f*** are we going to play him?! He's not a right winger. If we're playing him as a 9, who are we sacrificing? Messi is not playing RW, that's for sure. This entire plan has one fundamental problem to begin with. There's no place for a 9. Especially not one that is expected to play most of the time.

Messi would be AM.

Just read back, it has been covered a lot where Messi could play.

Did you even watch our games this season? Tata's decision to use Messi as a real 9 is exactly why he was isolated from play and why we were toothless against the major teams in the second half of the season.

And midst all this, all of you are missing a really really BIG point. If Alexis himself wants to leave, then we're only hurting the team by keeping him here when his mind is elsewhere.

Well, that makes sense... Let's move the best player on the planet from his main position in order to fit someone we didn't really need in the first place.

Suarez would move in front of Messi from the right wing, while Messi himself drops back. Suarez thus occupies the centerbacks, removing the 4+ player marking on Messi/Neymar. Rightback/Right Midfielder occupies the oppositions left back.

Suarez would be a number nine with Messi just behind (Messi best position). Or Messi can be a false nine and Suarez in the right (he is very good there).

Messi himself has said he prefers playing behind a striker. And under Pep one of our wide forwards was actually a striker playing out of position (Etoo, Henry, Villa) rather than a winger, which is all we have had since Villa left.

You actually think Barca don't need Suarez or a player of his ilk? Barca has been completely neutralised by good defences for the past 2 years. Also Messi's move from his 'main position' has brought him 4 goals in 3 World Cup games and 10 goals in qualifying.

Suarez is perfect fit.. He will cause havoc for oppositions defences and allow Messi that much needed space which he had none of last season.
