No, you have footage that was slowed down, but none the less shows him rather clearly saying "mono", while also trying to hide his mouth. The player confirmed it was said while his club lodged an official complaint. All the while Busquets made a very late response to the claims, with an excuse that frankly didn't make sense, while his own manager as good as admitted he said something he shouldn't have.
You said there wasn't a case, you point blank refused to criticize Busquets even though there was a considerable amount of evidence, if not common sense, to suggest he did.
because there wasn't a case.
Marcelo only said it once, when the club launched the case. he didn't say it during the game, or after the game. an extrovert like Marcelo said absolutely nothing about a player racially abusing him until prompted, a week later, by the club? yeah. not buying it.
and, actually, I said many times that if he was found to have said something racist that he should get a hefty ban. if I had seen some unbias proof, some clear evidence, then my attitude would have been wholly different. but all I saw some twisted footage, slowed down, repeated, and all the while subtitled to influence you into seeing what they wanted you to see. it was an example of the propaganda power of film. Stalin would have been proud.
if your biggest proof is that Pep said "sometimes players make mistakes" then you're reaching, man.
You are now barring another player to rights over no evidence other than one players reaction.
player reaction is the biggest indicator something has happened in incidents like this. like when John Terry racially abused Ledley King; King & Chimbonda flipped the fuck out and Terry was sent off coz the referee heard him. it was all hushed up post-match as Terry was England Captain at the time, but there was a reaction from the players. just like today when Evra got wound up like crazy. and yet when Marcelo supposedly got abused, he didn't seem bothered at all. funny, that!
To defend one and slam the other is heinously hypocritical. You don't have a leg to stand on here, mate.
I've got legs ahoy over here.
