I am Leg End
Well seeing as Forlan is still around I expect him to get at least 40 goals before he retires, so a bit of a way to go yet.

 I'm guessing he said something to Evra? They were squabbling all game long, and he should have been at least booked for that kick on Evra, god these English refs are so fucking blind.

so lets sumarize that:
Busquets says something to Marcelo but Marcelo (yeah THE Marcelo that kicked messi, stomped on pedro, almost ruined cesc´s career) is not offended and doesnt react to this in match and he doesnt even say something on that matter to medias

Suarez says something to Evra and Evra is clearly offended, he pushes Suarez in match and than says to the media he was racially abused...

oh and forgot to say that El Clasico is little bit more heated than this English derby

Insulting someone as a means of mentally destabilizing that person during a game doesn't necessarily mean you're a racist.

Not that I like him at all.

But you defended Sergio Busquets to the hills Meta.

I defended Busquets because the "proof" was a doctored video and none of the Real Madrid players said a thing about the racism, and that to me says that Real only brought it up as part of their general smear campaign after we beat them (especially as they didn't mention it the first time around). this was essentially confirmed by the speed with which they distanced themselves from the video after UEFA told them it didn't prove anything.

this has a player coming out and saying he was abused. not having the club mention it as the second wave of a smear campaign.

No, you have footage that was slowed down, but none the less shows him rather clearly saying "mono", while also trying to hide his mouth. The player confirmed it was said while his club lodged an official complaint. All the while Busquets made a very late response to the claims, with an excuse that frankly didn't make sense, while his own manager as good as admitted he said something he shouldn't have.

You said there wasn't a case, you point blank refused to criticize Busquets even though there was a considerable amount of evidence, if not common sense, to suggest he did.

You are now barring another player to rights over no evidence other than one players reaction.

To defend one and slam the other is heinously hypocritical. You don't have a leg to stand on here, mate.

because there wasn't a case.

Marcelo only said it once, when the club launched the case. he didn't say it during the game, or after the game. an extrovert like Marcelo said absolutely nothing about a player racially abusing him until prompted, a week later, by the club? yeah. not buying it.

and, actually, I said many times that if he was found to have said something racist that he should get a hefty ban. if I had seen some unbias proof, some clear evidence, then my attitude would have been wholly different. but all I saw some twisted footage, slowed down, repeated, and all the while subtitled to influence you into seeing what they wanted you to see. it was an example of the propaganda power of film. Stalin would have been proud.

if your biggest proof is that Pep said "sometimes players make mistakes" then you're reaching, man.

You are now barring another player to rights over no evidence other than one players reaction.

player reaction is the biggest indicator something has happened in incidents like this. like when John Terry racially abused Ledley King; King & Chimbonda flipped the fuck out and Terry was sent off coz the referee heard him. it was all hushed up post-match as Terry was England Captain at the time, but there was a reaction from the players. just like today when Evra got wound up like crazy. and yet when Marcelo supposedly got abused, he didn't seem bothered at all. funny, that!

To defend one and slam the other is heinously hypocritical. You don't have a leg to stand on here, mate.

I've got legs ahoy over here.

No, YOU personally have no credibility here. You clutch at straws to defend the player you like, and condemn the one you don't, for the same crime on at best the same evidence (footage without a direct sound feed).

You can't have it both ways, you can't acquit one on a lack of comprehensive proof, then condemn the other on if anything more subjective "proof".
