The priority should be playing as much as possible to boost his confidence and technique in competitive games. He had 4 months of 'rest'.

The thing is that even if he scored 2 or 3 goals,it would have been against a small team and he would know that and it would not be the same as hitting 2 against valencia at their home.I think he won't regain his confidence until he scores some 2 or 3 against a la liga side or scores a screamer in the last minute. But he could have played for his technique improvement as you said.

Why does wenger never shut up?

He's an idiot, plain and simple... He is busier "coaching" Barcelona and Messi, than he is coaching Arsenal, he's just lucky Alexis is bailing him out almost every game, otherwise all their matches would end up like today's game...

What did he say now?

He said Messi dominates our attack and its why Suarez suffers and underperforms.
Which is true honestly, every other worldclass attacker is intimidated by Messi's talent and prefers to pass the ball rather then shoot.
It was the same with Villa, Zlatan, Pedro, Neymar (last season), Alexis. They get intimidated and pass the ball, you can clearly see it with suarez beside that one moment last game when he ironically should have passed to Messi.

When he joined Groningen,Ajax,Liverpool he started running the attack from the get-go, why? cause he was more talented, same with Alexis at Arsenal now, Ibra at Milan/Psg when he left, Villa at Valencia.
When a worldclass player isnt able to do that he wil become less effective (e.g. Cavani at Psg).

I still feel he can be great for Barca though, he has been unlucky a lot, Neymar adapted as well and so will he.

I don't think it's the same in Suarez' case though. Luisito seem to have settled in very well and would probably have atleast 4 more goals now, most of them from a Messi pass if his finishing was better.

Yeah, Suarez might be making some passes when he should shoot, but he is not exactly becoming Leo's butler. He is still taking his chances and trying to score and contributing a lot to our attack.

As for Wenger, then instead of worrying about Messi hindering Suarez' impact he should be worried about himself hindering Arsenal from moving on.

In one of my FM saves (I'm playing as Roma), Barca beat Cordoba 14-0. I'll post screenshot later.

Suarez 6 goals, Messi 4 + 1 PK.
