honestly

Reus-Messi-Neymar would be more deadly, because reus is great in tight spaces and we would have dribble machines....

Messi would make the goals , neymar and reus would help him beating defenders and passing to messi

Suarez is much better than Reus in tight spaces.

This thread is ridiculous. People talk about number nines but he was never bought to be a number nine, was he?

He has 2 goals and 6 assists in 10 matches, which can be obviously much better but I fully believe you need a good manager to get the most out of a player. We don't really have that.

Neymar in his first season also had a lot of assists but barely scored because of bad luck and other factors.

Of course it could also be the number nine curse... So just give Suarez the '7' and Pedro gets back '17'.

He's not a 9 mate, I've seen every game of his at liverpool especially as a lone striker. He can't do it. He's too in-disciplined as he always wants to be involved in play. Barca's style of play is way too slow for him anyway. He's a player that excels in fast counter attacking football as he can isolate players then 1v1. An most of his goals came last season between septmeber to December, he had 19 goals in 10 goals with no pens. After January he went on a few goal droughts.

Suarez isn't touching the ball enough at Barca the stats back this, hence the drop off in his performances aswell.

If you guys wanted an efficient number 9 it should have been Aguero imo.

Agree with everything, except Aguero. For me Aguero is to uneven and way to injury prone. BUT, Suarez is a brilliant player and we should be able to work it out - problem is we slow down our play to much and rarely look for anybody else in our final build up except Messi. Than Messi starts our attack, he wants some 1-2's and everybody are just standing and watching. The ball to Suarez should come from our midfield, Messi could also create space from time to time - but no, Raki is clumsy and passes back or screws up, Xavi does his trademark 360 turn and all the defenders are on the right side, Neymar tries to dribble the whole team and ends up loosing the ball or Messi just takes care of everything. I feel Suarez is left out many times - he does try to break free and makes runs behind defenders, but almost nobody is even looking in his direction and even less does he get the ball. He's screwed some chances up, sure, but again I think it's our tactics that screw things up. First of all we need our midfield to be more direct sometimes, sure we'll lose the ball a couple of times more per game, but come on, we have one of the best forwards on our team and we don't use him.

I am still waiting for his outstanding 80mio performances...

If I think about how we could have spent these 80 millions....

You could wonder how the - arguably - best player in the world last season suddenly turned into this. Well, he is still good, but nothing near last seasons level.

I think Lucho should be blamed for this too. He has 3 of the best strikers in the world. Players who have loads of individual brilliance. Players who can work in many diffrent positions. Players who can shoot from distance. And much more than that. How can that NOT work? I simply don't understand it! What i do believe is that a true world-class-coach would make them work much better.

Best player in the world? Every player shines in the overrated EPL, though he was good in world cup. He wasnt even top 3 last year

It's not his fault. That's what Barca currently does to players. Even Messi can't reveal his entire potential at the moment.

No other player can shoot or drible like Messi. People will only get disapointed if they keep comparing players to Messi.

I think Suarez is doing OK. He still lacks match form. He didn't play competitive games for a long time. Also, he is playing in a role he is not used.
Our biggest problem isn't our forwards. People should stop blaming Suarez, Messi or Neymar when we are clearly having issues with our fullbacks and midfield.

Playing in Barca is probably one of the most complex carrera path, especially when you're coming from BPL. Small spaces, quick thinking and reactions, huge expectations, playing against double deckers...takes time, but our situation is such that we don't have much time to offer when taking into consideration the transfer ban and
transformation phase that should have started 2 or 3 years ago. Heck, I'm not even sure whether the transformation has started at all, or we are just quick fixing what we can to keep the dream going.

Apparently he bought a house for 2.9m which is close to Messi's.
