I am saying Messi missed more and he is the greatest player ever. Suarez costing 80m doesnt mean he will score every chance.

You still havent pointed out these great chances he missed anyway.
Really? Cmon Suarez played pure striker for quite some games. Messi is either on wing or acting as 10/false 9. He is far from the box...

Suarez just isn't in match shape yet. It's obvious by how poor his ball control is, and he seems a bit sluggish at times.

I'm not expecting him to score every chance. But to say he hasn't had any service isn't true; Suarez has had chances, he's just missed a lot of them. Unfortunately, with his past behaviour and the price he came here for, he has no excuses. He has to produce it near enough every game.

A player like Suarez doesn't suddenly decline.

He is world-class, the best striker in the world and you can see it on the pitch. In order to get the best out of him, we must play more direct football which is nearly impossible considering the fact that nearly every team puts 11 men behind the ball vs us.

I havent said once he has had 'no service'.

Have said that he doesnt get the ball nearly enough in situations where he can do damage.

His price doesnt mean he should do it every game. No player is good enough to do it every game if given little platform to perform.

There were 4/5 times Barca broke today and the ball ended up at the feet of Xavi who did a 360 on the ball and allowed team to push up before picking out an easy sideways pass. Iniesta does this all the time as well.

Its infuriating and out of date.

From an outsider perspective and I said this before in the Neymar thread, the Barca system is the problem. It needs to be tweak with.

He's not a number 9 an he never was. He's not clinical enough(even if scores a shitload of goals from his own genius) an he's not disciplined enough to play as a number 9. At liverpool he played off another number 9 that stretched the pitch for him. Same with Uruguay he plays with cavani an before forlan went to shit it was with him. At Ajax again he played off another number 9.

He's a guy that needs to be getting the ball as much as possible to be effective, he's not efficient in possession but he has moments of outrageous genius that come off atleast once or twice a match which are telling.

He's a second striker, a poorer version of messi or a more mobile ibrahimovic.

You don't score shitloads of goals season after season and then stop unless there's something wrong.

PSG has the same problem with Cavani, but I belive it's personal, and so related to Cavani disliking PSG plain and simple.

As for Suarez, I believe the system used is at fault.

I fully believe Suarez is a great 9.

honestly

Reus-Messi-Neymar would be more deadly, because reus is great in tight spaces and we would have dribble machines....

Messi would make the goals , neymar and reus would help him beating defenders and passing to messi

He's not a 9 mate, I've seen every game of his at liverpool especially as a lone striker. He can't do it. He's too in-disciplined as he always wants to be involved in play. Barca's style of play is way too slow for him anyway. He's a player that excels in fast counter attacking football as he can isolate players then 1v1. An most of his goals came last season between septmeber to December, he had 19 goals in 10 goals with no pens. After January he went on a few goal droughts.

Suarez isn't touching the ball enough at Barca the stats back this, hence the drop off in his performances aswell.

If you guys wanted an efficient number 9 it should have been Aguero imo.

Still prefer suarez any days than that currently injury prone player. (Maybe I'm being too harsh, sorry Zanela)
