9 - Robert Lewandowski

There's no need to go overboard here.

He scored a really clutch goal and seemed to press and work much harder after it as well.

He's still soon-to-be 37 years old and plays like it for the most part, and we still need to prioritize finding his replacement ASAP.

Both things can be true.
Exactly. Fuckers going completely over the score here and doing u turns.

34 goals 3 assist.

I said 25-30 before the start of the season, he's about to blow that out the water.

If we win the league/CL this season, with what he's offered, 0 regrets in signing him, could not have gotten a better striker than him at the time we got him.

Like i said in the Alvarez topic, there is a reason coaches rarely sub him even when he's having a bad game.
Completely agree. Yes, the contract was very juicy and could have potentially backfired, but its clear that it was a risk that paid off big time.

His contribution has been completely beyond expectations for his age. Even if this is his last good season the signing will go down as a big success.

He has 64 goals and 17 assists in 95 appearances in LaLiga. At least in terms of output, I'm not sure there are many players in the world, let alone available to us, who we would be confident in them matching that.

This is so fucking funny. The same guys who have been vocally critical of him are now wanking off over him based on one goal. If he has a bad game in the next game they'll be calling him a donkey again.

Like I always say, football fans ate knee-jerk as fuck. At least I stick with what I believe and don't change my mind based on a game or two.
I am pretty sure no one changed their mind.
His contribution and overal play is still not good, compared to the rest of the team, and will not improve, due to age.
People are just happy he finally had a really big imact and fulfilled his role, which, since he is not here for the joga bonito and skills, is to score important goals.

Gotta give him credit for the goal today.

However, we can't go another season with him as a starting striker. If his ego can take it, I would sign him on a 2 year contract with a significant paycut as a 2nd striker and a bench option.

Doubt that would happen, but still...

All about goals with you. You're absolutely clueless at analysing a game and can only count up stats.

Nobody denies he can score goals you moronic maggot. It's his all-round game that's awful.

And he hid in a one team league for 8 years.

Imagine claiming he's saving Barca. Fucking unbelievable levels of cognitive dissonance there.
Did you really apply for MENSA? I don't think so. You've written about the one-team league more than once. That one-team league crushed Barcelona 7:2 not so long ago - have you forgotten about that? There are 2 teams in the 1/4 UCL, BD was in the previous final.

And yes, I confirm - I currently support Barcelona, Inter and other teams with Poles, but above all Polish clubs. If Legia Warsaw plays with Barcelona, I'll support Legia. If Lech Poznań plays with Inter, I'll support Lech. What is incomprehensible to you here? If my son plays for a club one day, I'll support that club because my son will be part of it. Is it that hard to understand?

No one is saying he is prime Lewy suddenly after scoring a goal, just pointing out that his goal was huge and he did start playing better afterwards. No rocket science.
They are.

King Leo, one of his biggest critics, is wanking over him now and saying he will be a top 5 striker ever if he wins the CL this season (he will never be a top 5 striker ever).

That is irrelevant to the current form of Lewa. He belives he can be considered a top 5 striker for the totallity of his career if he also manages a CL with Barca at fucking 37 years old. Pretty logical I would say.

Yes, I did.

Dortmund were very lucky getting to that final. It was clearly lucky and better teams didn't make it.

Bayern crushed Barca, mainly because they were by far the best team in the Bundesliga. You prove my point.

Name one amazing game Lewy has had in the CL other than the multi-goal game against Real Madrid at Dortmund? I will wait.

You support 'Barcelona and Inter', yet you expect me to take you seriously? Who do you support when they play each other.

Weirdos like you who support multiple teams in multiple leagues are normally under 20, but your'e fucking F0RTY-SEVEN, you freak.

Anyway, you are clearly a moron.

Will never happen. Like RL9 but he has a gigantic ego.

It isn't because there's at least five strikers who were definitely better.

And it rests on a fucking massive what if hypothetical, in the month of March with the QF stage still to even play.

If you go out before the final, what then? And I wouldn't be surprised if that happens to be honest.

I don't care about stuff like "top-5 ever strikers" but if he wins another CL (especially if it's a treble) he becomes a Barca legend.

He's definitely one of the best strikers of the 21st century. Haven't watched football before 2005 to say that he's better than the ones before.

And you should be happy when Barca wins instead of foaming at the mouth in the Lewandowski thread. Accusing posters of being fake Barca fans while spending your time bitching about people praising a Barca player after a massive win

I am not a Barca fan (though I like them) so I am not obligated to be happy. Barca winning or losing has no effect on my life.

I never claimed he wasn't one of the best strikers of the 21st century. I have consistently said in his prime he's one of the best strikers of the last 30 years.

But those days are long gone.
