Goals are very important for a striker, but there's a lot more to strikers than that too. The fact you don't understand that is alarming.

Pele played as a number 9 for a decentpart of his career so not sure what your problem with that is.

I am 35yo. I will not tell you my opinion about Pele or any other player playing in a semi professional era. I can tell you I don't like Lewandowski's play style. Regardless he is on of the beat pure strikers I have seen.

His all-round game is poor, and I believe it will cost Barca at some point. It's only March with everything to play for. Some guys are shooting their bolt too early. Lewa's an old guy for a professional footballer and in the final stage of his career yet manages to be decisive and helps to keep Barca in the race.

Obvious downsides to his game primarily due to age but unlike other old strikers we've had here, he's a hard worker and not a lazy player. Don't think he's a liability. Not even sure what that means in this context. Pretty vague.
