9 - Robert Lewandowski

If I were a man, you would get a slap in the face, but as a woman I can only think with pity that I feel sorry for you.
To be fair, I am not friend of IniestaGOAT, but you are probably extremely shallow and very biased towards Lewa because of his extremely handsome looks. Of course you will feel more emotional attachment to him than a below average looking guy like Suarez (though he suits the bleach blond hair).

Women talking about men's looks is the bane of society. So many talentless men (not Robert) have become rich or famous through women liking or overrating their 'attractiveness' and hence their talent, as a result. I am thinking of singers or actors.

I don't understand this putting men on a pedestal by women, because there are a lot of women I think are pretty, but ugly inside. I certainly don't glorify them and stick up for them in their profession because of their looks. Margot Robbie for example is stunning, but a mediocre actress. I won't pretend otherwise because I am attracted to her.

If you say Robert's looks don't play a big part in how much you like him, and it's all about the football, we will know you are a liar.

Also, if you think a striker should be judged solely by goals, you have a very rudimentary view of football. You need to be much more than just a poacher or finisher these days.

That's a whole lotta assumptions
The disrespect lmao to boil it down to such a simple thing just because the user mentioned her gender.

Temptation told me she was posting modelling pics about Lewa, so it's not a huge stretch from there. I wouldn't have mentioned it had he not said that.

Also, Lewa is really loved by women and we all know why. Again, it isn't a huge stretch.

Also, you sound a little naive about women's motivations and how the world works. A guy with Lewa's exceptional looks will never find women being 'objective' about him, even if they think they are. It's biology.

Take it easy, kiddos! You won't land a punch on anyone's chin over the cyber space...Lol

Everyone loves Robert. Especially when he has got a good run like he does now.

I think the rage happens when some try to put him on too high a pedestal.

Let me offer you a slightly different experiment of thought, especially those of you of younger age;

I remember those prolific goal scorers in the more remote past, whose accomplishments and 'fame' at the time, were comparable to those of Lewa today. For instance, Muller, Lubanski, Chinaglia, in 1970s. Sanchez, Butragueno, Völler, van Basten, Berkamp...in 1980s, to name a few from the top of my head. Those were front pages of football magazines at the time...but who remembers them the same way Pele, Beckenbuer, Cryuff, Zicko, Socrates, Maradona, Platini...are still remembered today, hugh? ...and those in the second group, are not remembered ONLY for prolific goal scoring
In my humble prediction, in 50 or 40 years from now, football connoisseurs (which I don't quite consider myself), will include Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar in the latter group, while Lewa, Kane, Suarez, Halaand will be in the former.

Please tell me more about how women work lmao.

Lewy is huge in Poland. There are always a bunch of Poland flags at the stadium when Barca play, more than any other country.

Now I can confirm there are a lot of Polish Lewy fans on here too, I mean it's not that hard to figure out when they registered when Lewy came and only post in this thread.

Nothing wrong with that but just keep in mind there are people here just defending their countryman. Bias or not, the debate comes down to preference and you'd imagine a Pole takes Lewy's side, it's only normal. And a lot more reasonable than going by his looks, only Kolkatation does that.

Kane actually has a better all-round game than Cristiano Ronaldo, at least in terms of passing and playmaking. His passing long and short pisses all over Ronaldo's, though he's a worse dribbler. Some of those players from both groups could cross over into other groups too, don't fully agree with your classifications on who's a poacher and who's a playmaking striker.

But the overall point is correct - this is getting silly now with people trying to act like Lewa is the greatest striker of all time. It's becoming fanboy and fangirl levels (even from people I like and really get on with) and he's being put above people I think are clearly better than him (R9, Muller, Van Basten, Romario etc).

What has Poland got to do with it? Of course he's huge in Poland - he's Polish. Is Forza Barca Polish? That would play a part too.

Either way, I find it odd when people feel a real closeness to a celebrity because they're a compatriot. I am Scottish but you don't see me joining Liverpool forums and defending Andy Robertson's honour. Or extolling the virtues of Scott McTominay to Napoli fans. Maybe it's because I am not patriotic and don't feel an affinity with someone just because they were born in the same geographical area as me. I find kindship with celebrities because they're the same nationality exceedingly odd (sorry @TemporaryFan and others).

As for the rest, it sounds like you really need to be told how women work. Women constantly give men an easy ride if they find them good looking - they will make all kinds of allowances for them as their desire overrides their sense. Not all women, and not all of the time, but it is a trend. It's very noticeable in real life or society. It's biology.

Alternatively, they will be absolutely brutally hard on men they consider ugly.

You should swallow the red or black pill.

Odd for you maybe but that's how it is. I think the effect gets bigger if the country lack superstars. Zlatan and Sweden, Stoichkov and Bulgaria, Salah and Egypt to name a few. You'd imagine if they had played for us today forums would be swarming with their countrymen.

It's not worth a discussion over several posts, I'm just telling you how it is. There will be always be certain bias towards those players.

Well, no wonder...Poland is a football barren land. Sadly. Just a few flowers, out of which Lewa is a high White - Red Rose, naturally outstanding, the rest is nice daisies but in Spain, Portugal, France, Brazil all you see is roses, and daisies are not even worth mentioning.
