Lewa for 40m would probably be around 35m on the books for a season.

That is not far off what Haaland will be costing City.

Again.. why are Bayern not paying him and wanting to give him three years? Particualry if so impossible to find any alternative.

Haaland is earning around as much as KDB officially.

Ofcourse, City pay everyone under the table too but they got Haaland pretty cheap.

If club believes we can win the league next season, Lewa makes sense, if the finances are not anything big. As a short term option to give the club a taste of winning back, he'd be ideal.

Lewa at the moment, and maybe for about 2 years, is a better player than Haaland.

Also, he's not your typical veteran pusher that takes his profession post 30 as a way to take it lightly. Man is a competitive beast. Looking at the market, if we get him on for a good price, he'd be great.

You also have to give your youngsters proper role models. Too many years with no titles and not even challenging and you end up like Milan.

You think 40m fee for x3 years and say 10m to agent and around 350K a week is doable? Guesing at agent fees and salary but would be surprised if not far off.

Or what you think club can pay to get value?

I don't know if we can win the league with Lewa up front and practically no other reinforcements other than Christenson and Kessie though.

I believe a player like Lewandowski could get you close for near future. Next season, even with no money, the pressure to compete with Madrid is gonna be huge.

Barca fans aren't prepared to give the next 2-3 years a bye. This is the first year where we didn't compete for the title right until the end and it's already a tragedy.

Bayern doesn't want to pay him what he allegedly wants (28 to 30m a year) and perhaps Bayern doesn't believe he can be on this level for another three years. Maybe they saw something we don't know about. We should think about that too.

Jesus Christ we are gonna sign a 34y old Lewa for a huge amount of money. What a fucking disaster. Laporta you are a fucking idiot! This club will newer learn. The decade of suffering is behind the corner.

You do realize Benzema is older than him and is within a step of giving Madrid a CL + La Liga double?

Not only that they seem happy that there are better alternatives on the market.

Lewa could be great but it is exepensive and a risk due to age.
