less than 25 goals will be disaster. It is funny when ppl say he scores a lot because he plays in Bundesliga and it is easier there. At the same time all these ppl forget that he is top 3 CL all time scorer as well. Only Messi and Ronaldo have more goals in CL and it says a lot. Moreover he has better goal/match ratio than Messi and Ronaldo in CL.

Top4 CL scorers of all time are Cr7, Messi, Lewa and Benz.

Here is the problem:
1. either we were blessed that the best 4 strikers of all time played in the same decade
2. or, the football moved into a weird direction since 2005, due to internet and more money and rich teams started to be miles infront of other teams.
That created leagues where Bayern had 10 titles in a row, the same as Juve, Psg, Real+Barca.

If you are a striker who played for Barca, Real, Bayern for 10-15 years, you'll play in a CL every year, you'll play 10+ CL matches every year, your team will statpad in group stage against minows = and after 10-15 years, you'll be one of top scorers in a CL of all time.

Gerd Muller and Van Basten had 4-5 seasons of CL football with 20-30 matches in total.
Of course that Benzema and Lewa have more matches and more goals than them even though they can't be put in the same sentence skills wise.

Everything regarding league and CL football is inflated in the last 15-20 years due to a huge difference between rich and poor clubs and due to top players playing in top clubs (and CL every season) for 20 years.
Iirc, this is Messi's 19th CL.
And Ronaldo's 20th.

No wonder that the numbers are skewed and that it seems that all the best scorers ever somehow played in the last 15 years.

In 2030, the list of top6 CL scorers of all time will be: Cr7, Messi, Benz, Lewa, Haaland, Mbappe.

It'll be even worse.
All top players will be from the last 20-25 years.

So take all current stats with a grain of salt.

Of course you are right but on the other hand after Lewy and Benzema in top 5-20 we have many players from the past.

My point was that Lewy scores not only in BL but also in CL where every best player has possibility to play. If he is top scorer in CL there is no reason why he will flop in LaLiga.

Lewa stacked them goals in the CL in the group stages, not when it really matters.

His goal scoring records in the CL is the only thing a lewa fanatics has to try and oversell is greatness, he's a top striker.

But to say he's the 3rd best CL scorer after Ronaldo & Messi in some passing sense to say only those 2 are better than him and that he is anywhere close to those 2 is just down right disrespectful and delusional to the highest level.

He's a top 3 Striker of is generation, but he's 3rd on that list, that's probably universal recognized too.

Benzema and Saurez are better than him at their best, better than him overall.

But he has longevity in Saurez.

Gonna get at about 35 goals for us all in though and help us secure the league.

Only on this forum are Suarez and Benzema are considered above Lewandowski. In no other Football Circles....

Lewandowski more goals overall.
Has more League goals
Has more CL goals
Has more club goals
Has more international goals despite playing in a miles weaker national team
Has more hattricks
Has more records
Has more individual accolades
And so on....

And he is the youngest of the 3 and has played the least amount of games plus was a late bloomer.

Only thing these 2 have more is assists due to playing prime Ronaldo, Messi who score ridiculous amount of goals, solo goals and low xG goals.

But hey, we gotta big up our traditional La Liga boys. A foreign league guy can't be better.

Messi was also always scoring.
Yet he stopped scoring at Psg.

Cr7 was also always scoring.
Yet he stopped scorinh at Man Utd.

Why?
In Messi's case: age, new country, a team not being built around him, more physical defenders.

Cr7?
A new team, age, tougher league.

In Germany, even these players managed to score a lot:
Andre Silva 28
Werner 28
Kramaric 20
Paco Alcacer 18
Sancho 17
Jovic 17
Havertz 17

And the main important thing: age.
Lewa will never be as fast as today.
In September, he will never be as fast as that again.
In October, he'll be slower, but still he will never be as fast as in October anymore.
In December, he'll be even slower. But still way better than what we'll see in April or May etc.

I don't get the belief of people who think that suddenly every player is the next Ibra or Cr7 in terms of ageing well.

I hate fakeRonaldo but he did score 18 goals in a shockingly bad United team !

To be fair we have to consider that Lewa was the main goalscorer at Bayern while Benz and Suarez were on the second rank because of Ron and Messi

Suarez got his best goalscoring period with peak playmaking Messi(as in the period in which Messi was creating the most) and Neymar feeding him.

Cristiano has assisted Benzema more than the other way around. Not Ronaldo's fault that Benzema was a meme finisher for years.

Prime Madrid and Barca used to get great scorelines in the league. You lot know that better than me.

Is having Muller, Ribery and Robben supplying you for years in weaker league really that much worse? Dont think so.

Lewa had close to ideal working conditions at Bayern.
