He is bad but we don't have any options.

If we get out of the league soon, just don't play him and prepare for next season.

We can't have player that is 37 years old and earns 35miil per season. That is shambolic.

It's all about his scoring numbers. If he bags them in, he's not bad. He misses a lot and fails to convert properly made chances for him, he is bad. He is here to bag around 20 goals a season at a minimum, and the more those come in close hard-fought games, the more influential he is gonna be.

Against Valencia he wasn't bad. A double away from home, a good poacher's goal and an expertly taken pk. One of the best performers in the team.

He needs to improve he team and not limit them despite scoring some goals.

Team scoring 2 more goals with Lewa in year win the league as opposed to season before that was a shambles is not great.

It is like Utd when Ronaldo went back.. he scored.. but team was worse as played for his limitations.

For 40m odd on the books it cant be scoring less than midfielders and likes of Sorloth/Dovbyk and limiting the team tactically more than both.

Been as bad a transfer as feared and for all the reasons many stated at time.

Depends on how much he scores. Depends on what the team's style is. Do we drop back on leads and play more defensive, closed down game? Do we attack even at 1-0, 2-1 up and look to outscore opponents even if in favorable position? Many factors contribute.

In the season we've won the league, the team was pretty pragmatic in style. More reactive when sitting on a lead.

Indeed and he limits how team can play due to lack of legs.

Has been a very poor transfer and was clear how would pan out.

Sure. But not many attackers around that can score 20+ goals and also provide legs, combinative play, and everything. Certainly not strikers we can afford.

I would say he's been a mixed bag overall. Certainly not bad, but not very good either. About as expected, possibly a bit under, I can agree with that.

I think he will have good numbers this season.

Team will suffer because he does not have legs, and we will need to cover for him in defense.

We will play high pressing and yolo most of the times, so our strikers should score more, and Flick knows him so I think he can score 20 goals in the league alone.

Doubt any our player can score that.

Last season.. a midfielder scored more and Sorloth, Dovybk had more legs and scored more for worse teams.

Budimir scored one less goal from open play I think.

Auba and LDJ scored at better rate in league than Lewa has.

It is far too much on books for what he provides and forcing the pressure on FFP.
