Yeah... 30 goals and somehow can't tell you more than 5 of them because almost all of them are statpadded goals when games are already over or against terrible teams.

The guy had a bad season man. You have to say it.

After CM he was pathetic.

I'm afraid he'll only go downhill from now onwards.

Against Madrid, Atletico, Man Utd, Bayern, this guy was awful. In the biggest games he has been poor even before the World Cup.

Credit to him he is very good against lower LaLiga teams but if we have European ambitions he needs to do a lot better in that aspect.

Couldn't agree more. Sadly, Xavi, Laporta and the rest in the Board are somehow unable to see the obvious.

His lack of pace hinders the attack a fair bit when teams can play higher line a lot to keep him away from area.

With other CFs that lack pace like Kane he has ability on ball to drop and be a play maker and other wide players make runs in behind.

Lewa doesnt have that ability on ball and wide players hug touchline at Barca.

Will get goals v La Ligs dross that sit in and can be in box more.... against the better teams not so much.

Thats what get what pay huge money for a 34 year old... lets repeat one more time.. he is on the books for equivilant of a 100m player on 10m a season and will be for years yet.

Kane has Son to run in behind. Who does RL9 have to do that?

Dembele and Raphinha are wingers who prefer the ball to feet. They aren't wide forwards looking to run in behind defenses. So that argument is pointless.

It's not a holdup CF's job to offer a threat in behind. Get players of Vinicius, Mbappe, Thuram, Son, Rashford or Salah's profile if you want to exploit high lines. It's not as simple as pace=exploitation of high lines. That's a naive interpretation. Dembele and Raphinha are rapid but both offer no threat in behind.

It's just managerial incompetence. Barca players never have many options in the attacking third. Everyone is static and rigid in their positions. Zero movement. So easy to defend. All down to the novice coaching by a product of nepotism and his brother. People will go to any limits here in order to defend their Barca DNA darlings lmao.

Nah.. the argument is both that Lewa does not have the ability on ball Kane does and Barca dont play with wide players coming narrow either...quite clearly said that so listing Son/Salah etc is backing up what I said not arguing against it.

So argument is perfectly valid.

Lewa is limited by how he plays as doesnt have great ability on ball or the pace while team doesnt play with players running in behind either.

Absolutely not for Raphinha.

One of his best skills is movement and making runs in behind.

Raphinha is not an elite wide players making runs in behind and hasnt shown that at Barca or Leeds.

Looks lost trying to do it and fucks up on the ball the rare time it happens more often than not.
