With Poland (and I'm sure Temptation monitors his NT performances too) the fans are starting to get fed up of him there and complain he is dragging the team down despite scoring some goals.

That's completely false. Even at the most minimum you have to make runs in the box, he's not even doing that.

We don't have a place in this team for lazy players who expect the ball to magically land on them perfectly, while he does fuck all to help out his teammates.

If he can't cut it phsically or in terms of motivation, then fuck off to Arabia and let us get our money back.
We have to be careful with talking about new signings tho because from how I see it :

Nearly 200m was spent on Raphinha, Ferran and Lewandowski, and all three of them look bang average playing for us, whilst guys who were already here (Dembele, Fati) or even 16 year old Yamal look better in the system.

There has been some recruitment failure, but its not all that, there is also a failure to adapt to these players and fit their strengths in properly.

Sure, like Klopp is failing to adapt Darwin Nunez and failed to adapt Keita and so on. This happens in all teams.

This is the main reason why massive funds are needed each summer. A good proportion of your signings is not going to confirm very high expectations.

What top teams do when a 60-70m transfer fails is sign another one. Until they get it right.

And coaches get flack for it when it does.

Barca have let Messi, Griezmann and Dembele go for 60m odd and signed Lewa, Raph and Ferran for 200m+.

Those three going are not all on Xavi but as a club that is a downgrade and lot of money lost.

The issue is those three signed dont even look like fit the football Xavi ideally wants to play.

Not really. What happened here is very bizarre.

We signed 3 attackers for 200m of which all 3 are looking like they need to be replaced a year later. No other club has done that.

Nunez isn't doing badly anyway and will be a forward long term for Liverpool.

They do. And for good reason. But you move on and continue to invest to improve the team.

No they get sacked if the players they sign dont perform in most cases.

The argument for Lewa etc last summer was... 'Barca need immediate, instant impact now/he is a sure thing'.

Barca winning league doesnt justify it either.

Barca best hope is Saudi take him as soon as possible.

Nah. Raphinha doesn't need to be replaced. His output is pretty good for the price paid.

He's good, but not great. Team had more with Dembele.

I think Lamine will take minutes off him next season.

Lamine is like 4-5 years away and if we are not careful with him and push him, we'll put him soon in the ICU ward. There's a reason 17-year-olds don't play vs men. Especially one that looks as skinny as Yamal. Their body is still that of a child.

Never heard these same shouts when Xavi was playing Gavi week in week out at less than a year older.

Then it was all about how top class Gavi was.

How 'skinny he is it not really relevant' anyway it is about performance and if his build causes any issues.

He's too good to be playing youth level. He will be playing against men anyway whatever happens this season, loan, Barca B, first team, but he is good enough.

Gavi who is young and 'skinny' shows less and gets to play.
