He has the choice of leaving Barca on a good note and the club replacing him with somebody that wants to play for Barca, or staying another year out of spite and the club get nothing for him..................................

He doesn't want to renew his contract, so os better for him to leave. EPL is good for him, not just because the money, but also it'd be more suitable with his playing style, tireless and full of running. MC is good option too, he could prove something there.

Firstly Eto didn't buy his name, he earned it....... with every goal he scored for Barca...... I understand the business aspect of it BUT I hate to see people get a beat down for doing their job....... there has always been a love-hate relationship with Eto at Barca...... why? i'm not sure but we can agree he brought SOME of it on himself..........But here are MY facts.....and really that's all i care about..... trophies!! and beating Real madrid!!!

1) the two years that Eto was injured , we won NOTHING!!
2) The three years he played the full season for barca we won....... 2 champions league, 3 leagues, 1 copa......
3) he scores important goals..... period!!


so, love him or hate him....... he has given us all cules reason to jump for joy at some point ...... so, try to take another look at a man who has brought us some much joy with his goals......

Despite a goal in the CL final we're talking about a player who was very much off the boil in the last quarter of the season and who is showing signs of losing the edge he once had. Some of the chances he missed this season were absurd and there's no doubt he would have buried them two or three seasons ago. Add his slow decline to the fact that he is off to the ANC for a month in the new year and that he only has a year to go before he can walk for nothing then the club's decision becomes understandable.

How can you despite a champions league winning goal? It was not even a tap in, it was prime effort. Let us not forget how many champions leagues you have lost and that he scored in the two games you won the CL.

Yes I understand that for a couple of months he was absolutely garbage but he was phenomenal for 6-7 months at least (including the CL final). What beast is arguing is the lack of appreciation, the lack of glorification for such an icon of the club. From a footballing perspective, and from an economical perspective it makes sense to sell him now.

Don't get me wrong, I completely understand his whining and his ridiculous behavior mid season.However his attitude towards you was the same attitude you have shown him as you do not protect him. Some players eluded to the fact that they want him out already, public opinion of him has been absolutely critical and non-supportive in the final stretch, Laporta did not come out and say anything neither did any of his teammates. He is a bitch, one hundred percent, not an asshole, but a total bitch. A bitch that has contributed to 3 LA ligas and 2 CLs. Which means he deserves better.

Not just real fans as I share same opinion as beast about Eto'o.

The man is among the top 3 strikers in the world imo -when he is focused and mentally right - which of course is the main thing to get right.

How can a man who scored 30 odd goals a season, a man KNOWN for scoring important goals be fucked off so easily by Barca I'll never understand.

In the current and immediate future only 2 players could replace such a player - Villa and Torres. If Barca are willing to wait on potential then people like Keirrison and Benzema come into the equation, they are not proven yet.

Without this sounding like Im causing trouble no I dont think Robinho is a top player in terms of world football .

I think Tevez brings more pull then Robinho so if you do sign Tevez then maybe he can attract a few of his pals over from Argy .
