If all that is true then he is behaving like a primadonna.
If Lucho did not feel he was ready for first team on tour then I would guess a large part of it is his attitude.
Can remember there being issues in the past and him being left out of B team games under Eusebio due to his behaviour.

I like how the article doesn't mention anything about being offered a renewal. Why would he agree to go on loan when his contract was up in a year. Yes go on loan and we'll monitor your progression and then renew you as a free agent .Seems legit. Naturally the player will turn into a primadonna now when all he has ever been known is for his character intelligence and humility. Next chapter, Samper is actually like Balotelli or Gio dos Santos. All so the head nodders can say see there had to be a reason even if it never manifested before the gutter press\board mouth pieces decided to do yet another assassination.

About Grimaldo having behaviour/attitude issues or something like that.
I can remember a report about some players being very low in morale last season affecting their performance, but not about any such problems.

It was before last season.
Was definitely discussed as being rumours in press as to why Grimaldo had been dropped.
Press rumours at time.

LOL at the catalan press trying to make Grimaldo look like he's being ungrateful to Barca.
He wants to go because Lucho never gave him a chance, not because he wants a "good signing bonus".
The club is currently doing a very thorough job getting rid of young talents and keeping/signing old and expensive garbage like Adriano, Mathieu & Douglass.
They' are acting like there's no tomorrow. And in a few years time we will pay a hefty price for this shortsighted strategy...
