Just don't see why we'd need Ben Arfa. Even if Alen goes on loan (which he should for another year), we still don't really someone as a backup there. Arda, Denis, Rafinha, even Roberto and Vidal are already available and likely none of them will be a starter anyway.

what the hell? do you even know what position Arfa plays before comparing him to Alan, Vidal, Roberto etc? I doubt you ever seen him play. He plays advanced AM/Forward. He scored 17 goals for Nice this season (Ligue one 3rd top scorer after Ibra and Lacazette). The players you mentioned play different roles and not sub for MSN. Arfa will be MSN's sub.

As for Alan, he needs to play more to develop so selling him to a team where he can play more is ideal. of course with buy back option.
