Nothing new here. Alexis has always been aces in his creative side. Finishing is where he struggles and where people find faults.

Needs to continue to build confidence and work hard to improve the finishing aspect of his game. If he gets the finishing to at least an acceptable level, he can be a very complete player indeed.

Respectfully that is BS. Alexis is the same player with and without Messi.

The only difference is that with Messi on the pitch, Alexis is at the end of a lot of finishing opportunities that he just muffs. It's all on him.

He is equally hard working, equally creative and equally awful at finishing with and without Messi.

Alexis did everything right,sharp,quick,great 1st touch,feints,dribbles,good finish,incredible final pass(on par with Cesc and Iniesta).
I dont mind when you bash him after playing crap but why cant you just accept he was awesome today and if he continues this form he is starter material and worth the 30 something million we payed for him(unlike last season when he was crap even against crap teams,missing sitters left and right,just passing back and being owned by unknow semi professional footballers)!
