Can you actually say that with a straight face? Alexis in his 'best' ever season was matched by Pedro. Alexis has 3 CL goals in 3 season. Pedro has gone toe to toe with him yet according the barcaforum Pedro is shit but Alexis is amazing... :lol:

Alexis for Barca is Pedro 2.0, we don't need both of them so one should go, hopefully Alexis.

Pedro stat padded in goal fests. In no other way are their two seasons comparable when you go beneath the surface of the goal tallies and see against whom at at what point they both scored their goals. Nothing new here ,in 2012 Pedro scored a bunch of goals against Saudi Arabia, Belarus and Panama and his fans were wondering how come he couldn't transfer this 'record' form to Barca. Well there you have it, Pedro put the shit teams to sword for Barca this season too.

You can say the same about Alexis. A full third of his goal total came on 3 games.

Alexis 0,44 goals per game played for Barcelona (39, 88).

Pedro 0,30 goals per game played for Barcelona (52, 169).

I said if you check the moment in the game and against whom he scored. Most of his goals were opening goals, equalizing goals or the go ahead or wining goal this season.

I don't even know what those numbers mean. If you're going to post stats, please specify so we know what you're posting.

Here:

Alexis total minutes for Barca in 13-14 season in all competitions - 3262mins - 21 goals - 0.58 ratio of goals per 90mins played.
Pedro total minutes for Barca in 13-14 season in all competitions - 3239mins - 19 goals - 0.53 ratio of goals per 90mins played.

Pretty similar scoring outputs.

Edit: Not counting supercopa, only UCL, La Liga and Copa del Rey.

Alexis just needs to work on his consistency, but he is a great player and has flair, the ability to make something out of nothing like against Real and Atletico.
If Neymar becomes the finisher that we all expected him to be, Neymar and Messi with Alexis in support is an attack we should keep and focus our funds on other areas of the team.

In what department was Alexis matched by Pedro ? Go watch man of the match thread to see that Alexis is on the third spot this season. I didn't see Pedro score in big games this season while Alexis at least scored against Real Madrid and Atletico.

And don't get me started on last 2 seasons. Last season Pedro went on a streak of 16 games without a goal and then another streak of 14 games without a goal in La Liga.

Go in the Pedro thread an watch the last 150 pages people complaining about how bad he is . But yeah, let's sell the player who is 2 times better than Pedro.

Because some people seem to think Pedro < Alexis. Alexis had one bad season (2012-13), one fairly good season (2011-12), and one excellent season (2013-14).

I think what people might take exception to is when some say Pedro was garbage while Alexis was great, yet stat wise they had a very similar season.
