Alexis is better than Pedro at defensive duties, yes Pedro has the same work ethic but how often do you see Sanchez actually winning the ball back? A lot more consistently than Pedro that's for damn sure.

+1. I get tired of watching Pedro physically abused by opponent players. With all respect to his contribution over the past few years and his work ethics, I'd rather see Pedro out than either Villa or Sanchez

Why "afraid"? Why backup/alternation? He is a starter, it's clear as clearest daylight - Pedro has maybe had 2-3 good games in more than 2 seasons now, waving his his arms around like a windmill running clueless to cover up Alves kamikaze adventures on the right flank. Pedro has scored like 10 goals and maybe assisted 5 times in 2 seasons - I'm sooo tired of watching him fail over and over and over again. Today, there is absolutely nothing that Pedro can do, that Sanchez does twice as good - open your eyes people, he sucks!

I agree..We are giving Pedro too many chances and he is failing each time but we have players like Sanchez,Tello and they are not even getting many chances to start where they are so much better than Pedro.

He's been looking good in the games where there are not much pressure. It doesn't say much really as long as he becomes useless or invisible once the time gets tough again. I don't expect him to be that much different next year (if he stays) unless he works on his psychological issue.

funny i thought his best games in 2011/2012 were with madrid which are not without pressure at all.
+ if i remember right he earned a valluable penalty with psg this year.
its not his fault if barca plays only 12-15 games with real pressure and he participates in lets say 5- 8 of them

It was Alexis that won the penalty I think.

It's good he stays, if he fulfils potential he's a perfect fit for us, even if our play is a bit against his counter attack nature.

I don't think deu has the mentality to make it anyhow
