Iniesta slow? Cesc is slow.

Yeah Iniesta is slow.

He can throw people off balance and go past them and has a decent first couple yards but seeing him trying to get back to defend and opposition players blitzing past him can be painful to watch.

Iniesta is slow without the ball but pretty fast with the ball especially while dribbling.

Apparently andre gomez was Rm's prime target and him coming here has made manu fans paranoid that RM will go all out and snatch pogba from them
Redcafe is in fear right now.

Did he really compare him with Xavi?

No. He said he has a profile that's lacking since Xavi got old and left. André has the potential to become a midfielder like that, not that he'll be another Xavi.

9 midfielders for 3 spots .. Lucho created an army of midfieldrs  .. i don't care if we trash teams .. if we dont get 75 possession it doesn't count

I don't who that is, but he's definitely right about Barca not having an actual CM. Our midfield is stacked so one can get the wrong impression, but we do not have a single central midfielder. There's many attacking midfielders, but no one to really hold the middle like Xavi did. That type of CMs is a dying breed. I'm not very familiar with Gomes, but if he's anything like that, I'm excited to see how he does.

Having said that, Rakitić has done phenomenally well, considering that we're forcing him into a central, at times even primarily a defensive role, and he's an attacking player.

Wtf kind of signing is this. He's the last type of midfielder we needed and we already have like 4 other promising young midfielders. Waste of money, and a lot of it.

Wrong, he's somewhat an AM, he's not pure CM , he isn't good at controlling the ball or being versatile, he's more like to use spaces and his speed to pass opponents and set up a counter attack.
We still gotta need a good CM ( like Verratti or Modric or Samper if Lucho be able to develop his skills as CM )

Sahibi look at my explanation.

60m+ for him without incentives is pushing it.

35m + incentives is a good deal. If you're going to spend more than 60m straight up for a player then you'd ideally want him to already be World Class and that's what the rumors were. Valencia demanding more than 65m for him. Also, Madrid already have Modric and Kroos and a big signing like that would've unsettled their midfield.

You see now?
