Ask fans who forked few hundred pounds on a trip to Paris were they emotionally hurt by watching their club get mangled.

Did anyone apologize for that btw.? Lucho, Robert, Bartomeu?

aside from lucho, roberto, bartomeu, many of our new players, including the likes of neymar and suarez simply don't care enough for the club. there was a time when a CL exit (like versus chelsea 2012) was followed up with images of players devastated in the locker rooms.

Suarez was a Barca fan long before he joined. Also took a paycut if I remember correctly.

You're probably right about Neymar, Gomes and co.

Suarez came here only because his wife was in barcelona IIRC.

Had she been in madrid he would be at madrid right now.

Is it not time we give the kid a break the constant critisism and booing is doing noone any good

I'd imagine it makes the fans who do it feel better.

I dunno if anyone here knows American Football but since birth I've been a Dallas Cowboys fan and I've never had a problem booing my players when they underperform, which played a huge role in our QB getting permanently replaced in 2006. I don't believe such actions make a fan "Plastic" or any BS like that, an underperforming player should expect to hear it from the fans, because they're the ones who are truly hurting.

Surely the booing etc will only bring worse performances due to rock bottom morale. Imagine in your job people criticizing you on a daily basis saying your crap etc it wouldnt help you in the long run. our whole right side and midfield suffers this year due to no dani. So its not just gomes at fault and besides he chose us over madrid

IIRC Gomes was also a Barca fan too

I think it is ok for fans to boo the team unless we are talking about club legends or those who gave the club a lot,for that I would never respect anyone booing Lucho.
Gomes doesn't have that immunity though I would like the fans to give him a break. That said it is understandable since he was awful against PSG and the chance he missed could have totally changed the game in our favor.
